about MAMM’s

MAMMS Welfare Trust (MWT) is a voluntary, non-political, and non-profit organization registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau and under the Societies Registration Act. Founded by Professor Dr. Sayeba Akhter, it focuses on improving healthcare for underserved women, particularly those suffering from neglected gynecological conditions. Through the MAMM’S Institute of Fistula and Women’s Health (MIFWOH), the Trust provides completely free and comprehensive treatment for obstetric fistula and other child birth-related injuries, including genital prolapse, perineal tears, incontinence, and urethral and vaginal stenosis.
